The company was established in early 2006 to fill a void in services in the North American construction marketplace.

Although many construction specification writers will take on the task of writing technical literature and construction specifications for manufacturers, very few of them want to do this type of work. TD² has chosen not only to specialize in this, but also to actively seek out this type of work.

The company has a long and strong background with North American construction formatting documents as well as extensive experience in developing master guide specifications for the construction industry. Conversion of specification system numbering to MasterFormat™ 2004 is a specialty.

SpecMasters + Associates Inc. was founded by the President, Ian Bartlett, FCSC, RSW, MAATO, in October 19, 1998 and registered as an incorporated company in 1999.

Mr. Bartlett is an Architectural Technologist, senior specification writer and materials specialist. He is a member of Construction Specifications Canada, and the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario. He has 40 plus years experience in the construction industry covering all phases of construction documentation for the architectural discipline.

SpecMasters + Associates Inc., specializes in crafting superior documents for the construction industry. We are focused on three areas of the construction industry:

> Manufacturer's technical information including product data sheets, manufacturer's guide specifications and product manuals;

> Developing new and updating existing master specification sections to most current versions of SectionFormat™ and PageFormat™;
