The Spec Coach is a joint educational venture between TD² and SpecMasters + Associates Inc. It is intended to fill the current gap in the construction industry related to training of specification writers.

All of our courses and seminars are tailored to meet the requirements of our clients with regards to business spheres of influence, areas of expertise and differing construction contractual agreements.

Instructors: Our principal instructors are both Registered Specification Writers with many years of experience in construction specification writing training, who have been involved in developing and authoring construction document courses and seminars.

All training materials are based on the recommendations of the Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Manual of Practice (MoP) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Project Resource Manual (PRM).

CSC offers education and certification courses related to specification writing theory which are also based on the CSC MoP. The Spec Coach training is intended to complement, not replace or compete with, the educational courses available from CSC.
